Baoguette Bánh mì

St. Marks Pl. is one of my favorite places in the city, yet somehow I hadn’t gotten around to trying Baoguette until about a month ago. The Bánh mì was delicious, though I would have liked it spicier.

I rather like the color and pose of this shot. For once, I got decent colors out of scanned negatives. 35mm color negatives do rather leave something to be desired in terms of resolution, especially after scanning. Still, you could easily print this at over 10”.

This was my meal, a sloppy bao. I’ve since had the eponymous baoguette, which was also quite good.
